The story

The production of sparkling mead "Peneča medica" was started by Gregor Jere in about 2013 and since then has won many awards in local and international competitions.
 
Sparkling mead is produced by the long method of secondary fermentation in the bottle. Production takes about 5 years.
 
The current Gold Medal for the sparkling mead is from New Your Finger Lakes International Wine Competition 2018. From there also silver medal for chestnut honey.
