The wild taste of cherries twice differently
This mead will be enjoyed not only by lovers of sour cherry and chocolate cherries. Compared to cherries, cherries are a bit "bolder" in taste and their juiciness is beautifully complemented by mead. Cherries ripen in the sun and fresh air near our village. We loaded them into the mead whole and with the seeds. After fermentation, we tasted the young and beautifully fragrant cherry mead and the satisfaction with the result was great. But we encountered an interesting dilemma.
We always honestly taste each new mead honestly and find out in what form its uniqueness stands out so that we can recommend you how to best enjoy it. However, in the case of wild cherry mead, we cannot decide whether it tastes better chilled or heated.
Chilled - either ice cold or directly on ice - is just great and will fully reveal the taste of ripe cherries. If you heat the mead, it will reward you with an amazing and very delicate cherry scent. From the balanced taste of fruit and honey, a light sweetness emerges on the surface, and with each sip and each additional glass, the taste of honey gives way and the taste of cherries stands out. Towards the end of the palate there is no smell of honey, only a breath of memory of honest fruit compote from Grandma will remain.
