It's a stone!
We like all the fruit that is given to us by the rich Czech nature, but we must admit that little bumps into a just ripe, beautifully juicy peach. We've been playing with the idea of loading peach mead for a long time and we just waited for it to come across the right peaches.
And when we came across a sprinkled peach orchard at a local gardener in Slemen this year, we knew right away that this would be an extraordinary mead, and not just because of the taste. For us, it is also spiced with a pinch of nostalgia, because we once lived in Slemen, and it was there that we also founded and started our company.
Peach taste with a hint of nostalgia
We would say that the mead is very beneficial for the fact that we loaded wonderfully ripe peaches into the honey, whole and with the seeds. Thanks to this, you can also enjoy the delicate taste of kernels, which will give the mead the right flair during the tasting.
The resulting taste is long, warm and may surprise you with a gentle breath of apples on the palate. After the second sip, a peach flavor develops with a stone end.
We recommend cooling the mead before serving, thanks to which all its tones stand out. It is great even at room temperature, when the sweet taste of honey slightly prevails, which is perfectly complemented by the peach taste.
Peach flavor
"This mead is simply stone! Literally, we loaded whole peaches from it from our favorite gardener from Slemen, which is a village that has a special place in our hearts. This is exactly where we founded our company almost 29 years ago. The taste of mead is warm and long, surprisingly with a slight undertone of apples. And thanks to the loading of whole peaches, you will not lose the delicate taste of kernels, which definitely suits this mead. We had been preparing for peach mead for a long time and we just waited for us to come across the right peaches. These were juicy, ripe in the Czech sun, so we had to do something so that we would not eat them before loading :-) "
