Hidromiel Manta is a small family company from Gurabo Puerto Rico that is dedicated to creating traditional mead as well as mead with tropical and exotic fruits from the Caribbean, we also prepare mead to rest in oak barrels where whiskey was aged to give a unique touch to our different types of mead.

History

After Hurricane Maria wreaked havoc on the island and already having some experience making mead, we began experimenting with different tropical fruits and herbs as well as different types of honey in order to achieve the flavor we were looking for. Already in 2019 we gave the name Hidromiel Manta to our mead and patented it, becoming the first brand and only mead prepared in Puerto Rico. our motto is From my house to yours since we prepare everything from our home
