Sanguis Regis is our dry blackberry mead. We made it using 450 grams of blackberries per liter of mead. It’s the perfect gateway mead for wine drinkers. Taste wise it is akin to a young Beaujolais, but way more fruity and a little bit pore tannic. You can drink it with your meal at room temperature, or slightly chilled as an aperitif. Sanguis Regis is also the perfect base for a Royal Bramble or a Regal sidecar (recipes on our cocktail page).
