Mr. Gabriel has been beekeeping under the Chřibské lesy since around 1995. He also produces mead using the cold method, for which he regularly receives awards.
Mead is now produced in two herbal variants - light and dark. They differ in a different composition of herbs. During production, honey is processed to a temperature of 50°C. After fermentation, the mead then matures for approximately one to two years.
