Natural Mead

A friend introduced me to beekeeping in 2001 after I complained to him that although I have many trees in my garden that bloom profusely, I have almost no fruit from them. I got one colony from him to start with. Seven years later, I was already supplying 98 bee colonies in langstroth hives. I am still beekeeper in this hive (which, among other things, we also make ourselves). We have gradually expanded the range to include mead, beeswax candles and the sale of beekeeping supplies and surpluses from livestock farming.

History

2001- I start beekeeping with the first colony. 2003- Production of beehives for own use. Gradual transition to the Langstroth hive system. 2004- Production of beehives and frame blanks in cooperation with the company Dřevoekostyl. We are starting to deliver to eleven stores in the Czech Republic. 2005- I am a beekeeper with 32 bee colonies. Beehive production expands to Slovakia. We supply 18 stores with beekeeping supplies. 2006- I leave the company Dřevoekostyl. I procure 98 bee colonies. 2007- We start producing mead. 2008- Windstorm Kyril overturns two pallets with bee colonies. I lose 48 bee colonies. 2009- Gradual renewal through the creation of departments. 2012- We are beekeepers with thirty colonies. Most of the production goes to the production of mead, the rest we sell from the store. We are opening a shop for beekeeping supplies 2014- We are beekeepers with ninety bee colonies.
