Our mead is produced with the selection of quality raw materials in mind. We use a rich variety of species and first-class Slovak honey, while for the preparation and fermentation of honey we use specially developed yeast that is directly adapted to our production. Modern technological equipment allows us to control every aspect of the mead production process - from fermentation to maturation - at a consistently maintained temperature. This ensures that the mead preserves all the rare taste and aromatic properties of the honey from which it is made.
VILLAGE mead combines healing effects and the exceptional taste and aroma of the honey, herbs and spices used. One liter of mead contains up to 0.5 kg of flower honey. Honey has a beneficial effect on disorders of the digestive system and the cardiovascular system, the anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects of honey are known, especially for inflammation of the throat and upper respiratory tract. If mead is consumed in reasonable quantities (1-2 dcl per day), even the alcohol produced during the fermentation of honey has a positive effect on the human body.
