Meads from the Mazurskie Miody brand are produced using the cold process. This is a rarity not only on the Polish market.
Bogdan Piasecki started beekeeping in 1964, but the company did not start developing on a larger scale until the 1990s. They started selling their first meads only in 2010. They are produced using the cold process, which is a rarity not only on the Polish market. Due to the cold process, each vintage is slightly different, but the result is a combination of traditional recipes with modern technology.
They produce a wide range of meads from semi-dry meads to very sweet dessert meads: czwórniaky, trójniaky, dwójniaky and półtoraky. After 2014, they gradually included honey distillates, liqueurs and honey whiskey in their portfolio.
